Tribe Equipment Smorgasboard-O Here's the menu of options from which you should choose your Tribe Equipment stats. The menu is fairly diverse, so that Tribes can have quite a bit of flexibility in creating EQ stats that fit their role playing theme. This menu system was created so that Tribe EQ be imped faster, and so that the distribution of EQ among Tribes was balanced and fair. Documents referenced in this file are: - objstats.doc at http://madrom.org/areas.html - tribestuff.html at http://madrom.org/tribestuff.html Before going to the MENU of options below, please read: What is Tribe EQ, Tribe OBJECTS vs Tribe EQ What about Tribe EQ currently on? What about COLORED Tribe Items? - What is 'Tribe EQ'? 'Tribe EQ' are those items, bought by Tribes, intended for use by that Tribes members only, that are worn as EQ. Typically armor, but a light or a drink container or container might also be considered 'Tribe EQ' if it can be held, and has extra bonuses such as +mana or +con. In addition, every Tribe may purchase two level 91 pieces of EQ for Tribe Leaders-only..these items will be considered a bonus, and do not have to be chosen from the Tribe EQ menu, but *must* meet the general mud objects values guidelines in objstats.doc. For info on costs of Tribe EQ read tribestuff.html. - Tribe OBJECTS vs Tribe EQ - Items Tribes can buy that are not 'Tribe EQ' Tribes can create a whole whack of different objects. Most of the objects Tribes create, such as lights, containers and drink containers (if these three items have no bonus stats on them), portals, fountains, pits, food, drinks, and maps are NOT considered 'Tribe EQ' and therefore don't fall under the menu options given in this Tribe EQ File. Also, if a Tribe creates an item of ANY kind that is put on a shopkeeper and made available for sale to everyone in the mud, not just the tribe, those items are also not considered 'Tribe EQ' and don't fall under the menu of stats options given below. Any objects that Tribes want that are not 'Tribe EQ', such as those listed above, are considered Tribe OBJECTS, and should be created using the stats guidelines in objstats.doc To see a list of possible Tribe OBJECTS and other things, such as Tribe mobprogs and monsters that Tribes can buy, read tribestuff.html. - What about Tribe EQ currently on the MUD? Most of the Tribe EQ put on the mud before this menu was made, meets the options given in the menu and WON'T change. Some of the current Tribe EQ does not exactly meet the options, but is *not* overpowered or wonky, and does meet the mud Objects Stats Guidelines in objstats.doc, and therefor WON'T change. The few pieces of Tribe EQ that did not meet the Objects Stats Guidelines have been changed to meet the guidelines, after discussion with the Leaders of the affected Tribes. - What about Colored Tribe Items? Color is rare and expensive. Your Tribe may consider buying color for rooms, monsters, objects in Tribe rooms, and Tribe EQ or Tribe objects that is worn, but keep in mind, color is not unlimited. You'll have to decide what is more important to colorize: eg a monster and a few rooms, or 2 object types and 3 or so rooms, or a few bits of EQ, etc...we don't have a preset limit on what you can colorize for rooms and monsters but it won't be a lot, so ask to colorize only the stuff that you think is most important it be in color. For Tribe EQ, the limit of colored items will be 2. *|*|*|*|*|*|*|*|*|*|*|*|*|*|*|*|*|*|*|*|*|*|*|*|*|*|*|*|*|*|*|*|*|*|*|*|*|*| TRIBE EQUIPMENT GUIDELINES and of OPTIONS 1. Every Tribe can choose 12 PIECES of Tribe EQ, plus 2 extra pieces of EQ for Leaders. ** Weapons can not be purchased as Tribe EQ **, except if they are one of the 2 pieces of Leader-only Tribe EQ. (Again, Tribe Objects such as fountains, pits, portals etc. and the two pieces of Leader-only Tribe EQ don't count as one of the 12, and should be created using objstats.doc, rather than this menu.) 2.
