You can purchase just about anything your mind can dream up:
- Rooms
- Tribe Equipment
- Monsters, including Tribe Guardians and Mobprograms for the beasts
- Fountains, Donations Pits
- CoLoRiZed rooms, monsters and objects (Color is not unlimited though!)
- Portals that take your members to their Tribe roooms and are
portable, and can be carried by your members and follow them around,
- a Shapeshifter to morph your Tribe members into monsters that reflect
your Tribe's role play theme,
- Qwest prizes for your Tribe to hand out as prizes on Qwests they do,
- Code changes as needed for special things (for example, the Eternal
Alliance asked for and received passproof doors, and rooms where you can
gate into but not be summoned into, and the Order were the ones who got
the code changed so monsters can be made Tribe members in the area files,
as well as use the Mptecho command)
- Anything else you can think up

The minimum cost for most Tribe improvements is 2 red gems. The cost
will be lower than what might normally be charged IF the Tribe is an
active Tribe, who role plays some, who does Qwests for others on the mud
some to make it fun. The cost will also be lower IF the
objects/mobs/rooms etc are well written, are creative and cool, and are
in keeping with the Tribes particular role play/theme. The cost will also
be lower IF the item the Tribe wants is something that all players can enjoy.
If your Tribe does Qwests, or other stuff that makes the mud fun,
your requests for Tribe improvements will be granted more speedily!

ideas: How to write them up and submit them? * ?,'
- FIRST, go to MadROM's areas documents page
and grab the area docs..you should read ozy.doc to find out how to write
up a room, object and mobile properly. !!You should read teq.txt to find
out what items are considered Tribe EQ and what are considered 'normal'
eq, and IF they are Tribe EQ, what values to use. You should read
objstats.doc to find out what values you may put in your 'normal' objects.
You should read MobSounds.txt if you want your mobiles or rooms to have
cool text sounds sent to them. There's also a port of MadROM for linux
on this page, so that you can run MAD on your home machine to pre-test
the areas stuff before sending it to da Imps.
- Before you write up a whole wack of stuff, send a quick email to
Etaine outlining your ideas, so
she can give the OK! to them.
- If you need some advice as you are writing up stuff, you can ask areas
questions of Arioch, Ozymandias, Neuromancer, Faramir, Ganesha,
Bomberman, Amiga and Mithras
- for Vnums, use the format 99001, 99002, in your areas stuff (your
Tribe area editor will search and replace these for the mud later.
- once the stuff is done up, mail it to Etaine, sofa@madrom.org, in
plain ascii format...include a short note on what you sent, and how it is
supposed to all work together, if its not apparent from the file of stuff.
It's especially important that you include a note if you have mobprogs to
send me.
