THE ETERNAL ALLIANCE

The night was young, foggy, but the moon still shone through, beaming down only on four brave warriors, almost like a spotlight pointing them out in the dense mists. Before them rose a bright white spirit, hovering only inches from them, and holding a strange crystal ball. Stunned, the warriors listened as the spirit explained how each were blessed with different powers, and how together they could form a tribe, a powerful tribe. The crystal ball shimmered and vibrated, it's colors intensified blinding the seemingly helpless warriors. When they regained their vision, the spirit had vanished, and they felt strangely different.

The first warrior, Zenar, was granted the power of warfare. He could fight tougher fights then he had ever fought before, and grew immensely in size and strength.

Another, Tren, was given the power of social conduct. He became familiar with socializing and helping people get along. He enjoyed celebrations and parties for social events.

The third, Links, was granted the power of assistance. He would tend to aid people in need in many ways.

And the last noble warrior, Gan, found his talent in knowledge. He could see things never seen before, he could answer questions he could never answer before, and enjoyed going places he had never visited before.

With the four powers combined, The Eternal Alliance was formed, a tribe which would prove to have many functions and values to players.

The concept of warfare in its various arts and styles brought forth such ideas as the formation of a list displaying the members along with their alignments, to form groups which we feel heighten the experience of combat, which Zenar valued above all. Also, we can exchange the areas and names of mobs which should be fought at specific levels for different alignments.

The social aspect introduced such concepts as celebrations, socializing, meeting new people, and greeting new players. Celebrating special events such as mud marriages, and holdidays like New Years with outrageous parties. This aspect proved valuable as a way of uniting the tribe's members, bringing them together to form a whole. We feel the social part of the game is half the fun, and so we tend to specialize in it. When in need of a friend, one was to be found within The Eternal Alliance.

The idea of knowledge brought in several ideas to the group. One was running quests, quests which were enjoyable to all. Another, the need for the general knowledge of Thera, secrets would be exchanged amongst the members of the tribe. This leads to the knowledge of many specific things, for example the best eq at a certain level, even questions such as "What should I train next?" fall in here, and will be answered within the tribe's members.

The last aspect, assistance, showed the group the drastic need for help. We will help with corpse retrievals, the locations of mobs and items, but do not tend to help others level since we view levelling as a honoured experience we each must face.

The Eternal Alliance's members must be able to help in each of these four categories. They must enjoy the combat aspects, the social aspsect, the power of knowledge, and will be helpful.

Entrance into the tribe would not be very difficult, as the tribe sought to obtain new members to keep the tribe full and alive. Contact a leader on how to obtain membership.
